Your Equipment

It is important that every piece of your equipment is comfortable. Uncomfortable equipment can make learning difficult.

• Rental equipment can often be uncomfortable and less than a perfect fit. Therefore, it is recommended that you have your own correctly fitting equipment.
• Your instructor will review the equipment you’ll need, and you can discuss which pieces are a “must own” and which are “nice to own.” This includes:
  • Exposure suit
  • Hood and gloves
  • Mask and snorkel
  • Fins
  • Weight system
  • Instruments
