If you have never been on a boat and you do not know if you get seasick, consult with your medical physician regarding which tablets to take or consult your local diving emergency services. Some people are easily affected by it, while others are affected much less or not at all. For those who get seasick, there are some simple rules that may minimize the effect.

  1. Don’t eat greasy, heavy foods before you go.
  2. Don’t drink too much alcohol.
  3. Don’t get dehydrated. Drink plenty of water.
  4. Don’t party all night!
