Scuba diving swimming

During the dive, follow these safe practices:

  • Always dive with a buddy or dive professional and with surface support.
  • Take into account any currents or rough sea.
  • Do not yo-yo dive (go up and down continuously). Do not exceed an ascent rate that is greater than 9 meters/30 feet per minute, and if possible, slow down in the last few meters or feet.
  • Never hold your breath when ascending.
  • Always carry out a safety stop that lasts 3 to 5 minutes at a depth of 5 meters/15 feet.
