Course Outline

Objective: Regularly check your cylinder contents gauge during the dive.

Value: Ensuring that you have enough air (gas) to complete the dive safely is vitally important.

How It’s Done:

  • Observe the submersible pressure gauge (SPG), and confirm that you have an adequate starting volume of air. The minimum pressure should be minimum of 170–200 bar/2500–3000 psi.
